We aim to start working towards setting up a national database of all research work being undertaken in the area in the various colleges and universities of India. This will help to safeguard against needless overlapping in research projects/ theses and prevent wastage of time, energy and resources.

Somewhat more ambitiously, we also hope to build a specialized library of books and journals dedicated to the Victorian period. Any primary material or unpublished resource that is made available to us will be a very welcome addition.
